Colleen has more than twenty-five years in Housewares/Consumer PR with agency experience that includes Hill & Knowlton, Ruder-Finn, Cabot Communications and Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson and Cogent Public Relations where she was a founding partner.
She started her first company, Spitfire Communications, in 1995 in Salem, MA.
Throughout her extensive agency PR career, Colleen has worked on a variety of top-tier brands including, Krups, Braun, Rowenta, Au Bon Pain, The Ground Round, Calphalon and Marriott Hotels, to name a few.
Colleen is a proud member of the New York chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
She has a passion for new media, four legged friends, kayaking, boating and watching American football.
As the former Food Director for Family Circle, Regina brought more than twenty-five years of nutrition expertise to the magazine. Previously, Regina was vice president, nutrition at Hunter PR. In that role, she provided counsel to a number of Hunter PR’s food clients including McCormick, Post and Kraft.
Prior to joining the Hunter PR team, Regina was vice president of food and nutrition at Ogilvy Public Relations, where she worked on a variety of Unilever’s health and vitality brands such as Promise, Lipton and Hellmann’s Mayonnaise.
Before that she was food editor of Prevention magazine, America’s leading health magazine. She was responsible for the editorial direction, design and content of the magazine’s food pages as well as recipe development.
Regina has dedicated her career to educating people on the many benefits of eating healthy foods, and is the author of Win the Fat War cookbook and Decadent Diabetic Desserts and co-author of Meals that Heal.
Regina also served as the test kitchen director for Ladies Home Journal magazine and was an assistant manager at the Global Consumer Food Center of the Campbell Soup Company. Regina has held numerous positions in the publishing industry including food editor for both Weight Watchers magazine and the Weight Watchers Publishing Group and as a nutritionist for Family Circle magazine.
Regina is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Les Dames D’Escoffier, received her MS in Nutrition from Queens College and her BS in Nutrition and Foods from New York University.
Devorah has over seven years of freelance, in-house, and agency PR experience
She previously worked in the book publishing industry and created publicity campaigns for many bestselling cookbooks and lifestyle titles.
In her spare time, she likes to cook and bake, entertain friends, and hike near her home in New Jersey with her husband and baby boy.
Jane graduated from Hunter College with a B.A. in Media Analysis & Criticism in 2016.
She has worked in other PR agencies with different focuses, from government to high-end furniture.
In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, sewing, finding new dessert shops around the city and singing karaoke. She also loves birds!
Amanda Brokaw is a seasoned marketing professional with over 21 years of experience in public relations. Amanda honed her media relations and account management skills at several boutique PR agencies in NYC. Throughout her agency career, she worked with some of the most recognized food and spirits companies in the world including Kraft, Diageo, Gallo Wines, Campbell Soup Company, Kellogg’s and Wrigley.
In 2012, she launched her own strategic PR consulting company, Brokaw PR, where she selectively works on clients in the food, spirit and lifestyle industries. Her passion for pitching and cultivating long-standing editor relationships has earned her a solid reputation as a “go-to” media relations consultant in the industry.
